Meet Theresa
Q: Tell us about yourself
A: I'm mother to four kids - half of whom are taller than me. I
sell gourmet food but I hate to cook. I also hate to work out or
anything that involves sweat but I do it anyway. I love to read but have
no time. I love to sing but my kids won't let me. I'm afraid of spiders
and of embarrassing myself. I've always wanted to learn ballroom
dancing! ... but I'm afraid of embarrassing myself.
Q: Tell us about your
relationship with Jesus.
A: I'm head-over-heels in love with him! I wasn't always. I tried
to love him through my choices but didn't feel it in my heart. Trying to
better understand why he loves me, led to me loving myself, and that's
when I really fell in love with Christ! Love God above all others and
love others as yourself.
Q: Who's your favorite
saint and why?
A: I'm lucky to have a plethora of saints with my name and I'm
partial to them all! The Little Flower is my model of humility and
simplicity. Teresa of Avila is my teacher of interior prayer. And
soon-to-be saint, Mother Teresa is my modern example of doing all things
with love. These three combined are a great guide to a happy life! One
for her saintly attitude, one for her saintly prayer life, and one for
her saintly actions.
Q: What's your favorite food?
A: Breakfast foods. All day, every day!
Q: Special talent?
A: Hmmm...I can whistle Bohemian Rhapsody and "moon walk"?
Q: Anything else, aside
from your criminal history, that we should know?
A: I can whistle Bohemian Rhapsody and "moon walk".
