Meet Boyea
Q: Tell us about yourself
A: I have been blessed with a beautiful wife and two wonderful
daughters who are all the highlights of my life. By day I work as a
Network Engineer, keeping the servers, email, and other technical things
running. For some unknown reason, I am deathly terrified of moths and
butterflies. I firmly believe that laughter is the best medicine.
Q: Tell us about your
relationship with Jesus.
A: I was born and raised Catholic, and went to Catholic grade
school, but it wasn't until I attended a retreat in high school that I
desired to actually have a relationship with Jesus. Since that time, I
have developed a wonderful friendship with him. I continue to have a
great desire and thirst to know Jesus even better, each and every day of
my life. Like any relationship though, it is not without its bumps and
bruises (although I am the only one who causes these bumps and bruises).
Our friendship requires understanding and open communication. While
Jesus has never fallen short in these areas, I know I sometimes do, so I
continue to work on it.
Q: Who's your favorite
saint and why?
A: I have several, but if I had to pick only one favorite, it
would be our Holy Mother. Without her saying yes to God, my Savior would
not have been born, nor would He have died, nor would He have
resurrected from the dead into Heaven. She accepted a fate that freed
the world from sin.
Q: What's your favorite food?
A: Cheese!!! - anything with cheese on it.
Q: Special talent?
A: Making people laugh
Q: Anything else, aside
from your criminal history, that we should know?
A: Well, you should know that sometimes the purple dragon adores
gazing up into the orange sky from the back of the camouflaged bus,
pondering about the velvet rhinoceros. Other then that... no.
